BMW E82 135is coupe at Schmiedmann Odense
For many, the BMW E82 135is is the M car that never became an M car.
The 2011 and 2012 1M coupes have become very popular with investors and M enthusiasts, with price increases to match.
That's why many see the BMW E82 135i and 135is as an opportunity to get very close to the 1Mer's technology without having to pay top dollar for the true M experience.
Compared to the BMW E82 135i, the 135is has the same brakes as the 1M, and the already powerful 3-litre, 6-cylinder twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine has been pushed by BMW to produce 20 more horsepower than in the 135i.
So you get a total of 326bhp, compared to 306 standard horses in the E82 135i.
Is the BMW 135is rare? Yes, it certainly is! Only 586 BMW 135is Coupe have been built.
Although the small BMW E82 Coupe is a sporty car, this customer thought the exterior needed to be styled.

Schmiedmann Odense is embarking on major engine projects

One is N57TU from a BMW F15 X5.
The block itself has been travelling to Germany to be renovated. Now we assemble it at Schmiedmann Odense and reunite it with the F15 X5 it comes from.
