MINI with strange knocking noises from the engine
At Schmiedmann Peru, a MINI F56 from 2014 came into the workshop with only 28,000 KM on the odometer.
The customer reported that there were knocking noises coming from its B38 engine.
On closer inspection, the knocking sounds were confirmed and it turned out that the spark plugs were sooty and worse, cylinder 2 was tilted to the left.
The connecting rod was simply bent.
